Verizon IndyCar Series aces Scott Dixon and Sebastien Bourdais will be the third drivers in the pair of Ford Chip Ganassi Racing Ford GTs at the upcoming Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, March 19.
Bourdais continues in the No. 66 car with Joey Hand and Dirk Mueller as he did at the Rolex 24 at Daytona, while Dixon will have his debut run in the No. 67 Ford GT after running a Riley-Ford Daytona Prototype at the Rolex 24. He’ll share the car with Ryan Briscoe and Richard Westbrook.
Both drivers will be coming off the IndyCar opener the week before, March 13, the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.
“It’s exciting to continue with Sébastien Bourdais at the 12 Hours of Sebring,” said Ganassi Managing Director Mike Hull.
“The addition of Scott Dixon to our Ford Performance GT lineup enhances the depth chart. To have six high-caliber drivers who unselfishly know how to share with each other supports the momentum for the next step in North America. Our culture is about drivers, who as teammates hand the car to the next as they would like to receive it.”
