AVONDALE, Ariz. - The night test session at Phoenix International Raceway brought a lot of speed, a lot of laps, a number of yellows, but fortunately no accidents at the Test in the West.
Marco Andretti was the leading driver in the session, ahead of Scott Dixon and Ed Carpenter.
Helio Castroneves’ best lap in the first of two three-hour sessions stood as the fastest of the day.
A total of 2464 laps were turned today. There were 1488 laps done in the evening session, after 976 were done in the first session.
