If the color of the Turn 2 VIP suites at Indianapolis Motor Speedway look like the green jackets worn by winners of The Masters golf tournament for this year’s Indianapolis 500, it’s not by coincidence.

Fuzzy’s Ultra Premium Vodka, which sponsors Ed Carpenter and Josef Newgarden’s cars in the Verizon IndyCar Series, is owned by pro golfer and 1979 The Masters champion, Fuzzy Zoeller.

And now, for this year’s 100th running of the legendary Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil, Fuzzy’s will rebrand – and repaint – the Turn 2 suites for this May’s Greatest Spectacle In Racing.

The “Fuzzy’s Vodka Turn 2 VIP Suites” will be repainted green and white and rebranded in time for the Angie’s List Grand Prix of Indianapolis, which precedes the Indy 500 in May.

“We all knew the building needed to be repainted and we were happy to help with a little paint and some branding,” Zoeller said in a media release.

Zoeller established the vodka brand in 2009, and it has quickly gained national success. It first appeared in IndyCar the following year, then with Carpenter when he drove selected oval races with Panther Racing.

“Fuzzy’s Ultra Premium Vodka has become a significant presence here in recent years, from riding with Ed Carpenter Racing to serving as our Official Vodka,” Indianapolis Motor Speedway President J. Douglas Boles said.

“We’re excited to see them involved even more with Fuzzy’s Vodka Turn 2 VIP Suites, which is a prime location for guests to enjoy our tremendous 2016 season.”
