We’ve got our first #INDYRIVALS of 2016: Bourdais vs. Aleshin

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - When Mikhail Aleshin was last in the Verizon IndyCar Series full-time in 2014, he and Sebastien Bourdais had at least one if not more comings together.

In third practice this morning, Bourdais, in the No. 11 Team Hydroxycut KVSH Racing Chevrolet nearly ran into the back of Aleshin, in the No. 7 SMP Racing Schmidt Peterson Motorsports Honda, at Turn 8 at the top of the course.

While there was slight damage there was not enough for a major incident.

Nonetheless, Bourdais was miffed at Aleshin when the two spoke on pit road.

And lucky for us, the cameras were rolling and caught it. Via INDYCAR, see the incident and the aftermath above.
