Andretti Autosport, with drivers Marco Andretti, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Carlos Munoz, and Alexander Rossi, announced a partnership with the Research and Development arm of DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond, WA.
“DigiPen’s custom software solutions provide us with tools that help drive competition and success,” said Michael Andretti, CEO of Andretti Autosport in a press release Tuesday. “We are really pleased to have DigiPen on board again for the 2016 season.”
As a technology supplier, DigiPen gives Andretti drivers access to custom-developed tools and technology developed by the institute.
Founded in 1988 by Claude Comair as a computer simulation and animation company, DigiPen has expanded internationally through strategic alliances and partnerships like those with Andretti Autosport, Nintendo, and Singapore’s Economic Development Board.
