It’s official: John Force is now on Twitter -- and Twitter will never be the same again.
The 16-time NHRA Funny Car champion is the latest athlete to join the Twitterverse.
His Twitter handle is, quite appropriately we might add, @JohnForce_FC
One of Force’s PR people, Sarah Adams, caught history in the making when her boss took to the Twitter world:

And here’s another from daughter Courtney Force:
So dad got Twitter & he's workin on his 1st tweet😳😂 @JohnForce_FC #ThisMightBeAwhile #WhatsHeTryingToSay @DaleJr pic.twitter.com/VGOKYywegs

As of Saturday night at 9:35 pm ET, Force already had 8,850 followers and had tweeted twice, and nothing controversial or outlandish. You might say he’s just getting warmed up. But once he hits his stride, look out, world.
Or as daughters Brittany and Courtney tweeted:
@JohnForce_FC is officially on Twitter!! Check it out everyone, this should definitely be entertaining! 🙊

I feel like I have to keep checking my dads Twitter cuz I'm too afraid of what he's going to post 🙈 @JohnForce_FC
— Courtney Force (@courtneyforce) April 2, 2016
Son-in-law Graham Rahal, who married Courtney last November, also braced himself for what’s to come from his father-in-law:
You all think it’s great @JohnForce_FC has joined Twitter. As a family member, it’s scary because it also means he can now text….😳👎🏼

Here’s John Force’s first two tweets to the world:

Earnhardt Jr. sorry, they refused my brain. I'm a dinosaur on Twitter they even stole my name 66 years old 21 in my firesuit I'm exhausted
— John Force (@JohnForce_FC) April 2, 2016
The latter tweet was in response to Dale Earnhardt Jr., who was one of several big names to welcome Force to Twitter. Here’s a smattering of folks, including several drivers, who welcomed the self-professed “Truck driver from Bell Gardens (Calif.)” .....
Welcome to @twitter @JohnForce_FC. This place is perfect for you. #Legend
