John Force tweets for 1st time -- and the world of Twitter will never be the same

It’s official: John Force is now on Twitter -- and Twitter will never be the same again.

The 16-time NHRA Funny Car champion is the latest athlete to join the Twitterverse.

His Twitter handle is, quite appropriately we might add, @JohnForce_FC

One of Force’s PR people, Sarah Adams, caught history in the making when her boss took to the Twitter world:

And here’s another from daughter Courtney Force:

As of Saturday night at 9:35 pm ET, Force already had 8,850 followers and had tweeted twice, and nothing controversial or outlandish. You might say he’s just getting warmed up. But once he hits his stride, look out, world.

Son-in-law Graham Rahal, who married Courtney last November, also braced himself for what’s to come from his father-in-law:

The latter tweet was in response to Dale Earnhardt Jr., who was one of several big names to welcome Force to Twitter. Here’s a smattering of folks, including several drivers, who welcomed the self-professed “Truck driver from Bell Gardens (Calif.)” .....
