If you’re fortunate to be one of the select few that receive bronze badges for the Indianapolis 500, it’s oftentimes an out of this world like feeling.
One of the biggest perks of the purchased badges is that holders get access to the garages at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and get to see IndyCar drivers and their ultra-sleek, open-wheel rides throughout the month of May (with the exception of race day for the Angie’s List Grand Prix of Indianapolis and the Indianapolis 500).

Now those same badges will truly go out of this world when they blast off Friday on the next scheduled trip to the International Space Station.
The badges will be aboard SpaceX8, which is a cargo resupply mission to the ISS.
If you have a bronze badge and are excited about the milestone 500, imagine how folks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway feel about their badges blasting off into space.
