What’s a big race like the 100th Indy 500 without an equally big party?

The 100th running of the legendary Indianapolis 500 will be the hottest ticket in sports this year.

But what’s a hot ticket without an equally hot party?

Indianapolis Motor Speedway officials announced Wednesday that Maxim Magazine will host one of the biggest parties of the year on Friday, May 27, two days before the milestone 500.

The party will be held at the Pavilion at Pan Am and will feature renowned DJ Tiësto as headliner of the event.

“Maxim only comes to the most marquee events on the sports and cultural calendar,” IMS president J. Douglas Boles said in a media release. “This will be an epic VIP experience, blending sports, entertainment and culture and bringing even more thrills to an action-packed Race Week.”

More than 2,000 attendees – including A-List Celebrities from fashion, art, music and racing/sports, as well as other VIPs and drivers – will attend the event.

“We see the Indy 500 as a Pinnacle of sporting events,” said Dylan Marer, CEO of Karma International and Executive Producer for Maxim Events, which will put on the event. “Thus we feel it would be a great opportunity and brand elevating experience to kick off the historical weekend for the nation’s largest race event.”

Tiësto has been named “The Greatest DJ of All Time” by Mixmag and the #1 DJ by Rolling Stone. Among his hits are “Red Lights” and “Wasted” with Matthew Koma.

Tiësto won a Grammy in 2015 for the Best Remixed Recording, Non Classical category for his remix of John Legend’s “All Of Me.”

A select number of tickets and tables are still available to attend the party. For more information, visit www.themaximevents.com/maximindy500 and use the code “Maxim500.”

In addition, on race day, May 29th, the pre-race Snake Pit concert will feature Skrillex and additional performances by Martin Garrix, Zedd’s Dead and DJ Mustard. For more information, visit www.indy500snakepit.com.
