Another news item that came in late last week was the confirmation that Collete Davis and River Racing will be back in the Red Bull Global Rallycross’ GRC Lites division for the upcoming season.
Davis, who ran under the Bryan Herta Rallysport tent last year, and River Racing will shift to Rhys Millen Racing.
Millen ran a handful of GRC events last year in the Supercars division with a Hyundai Veloster, but has generally starred in motorsports over a 20-year-plus career.
“I actually tested with RMR before the last race of the season last year,” Davis said in a release. “In that one-day test, I learned so much it was crazy. From that moment, I knew I wanted to work with them in 2016.”
Millen added, “I am excited to welcome Collete to the team and look forward to watching her apply the offseason testing we have been doing for the 2016 Red Bull GRC season. Collete is a delight to work with, listens and applies well and has developed a strong skill set that is sure to impress on track this season.”
