INDIANAPOLIS – People love a good story and James Hinchcliffe scoring the pole position for Sunday’s 100th Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil is undoubtedly a good one.
Unsurprisingly, it didn’t take long for the congratulatory tweets to start flowing.
Hinchcliffe edged Josef Newgarden by 0.0407 of a second over four laps and 10 miles, or 0.060 of a mile an hour.
