Lewis Hamilton heads into Sunday’s Austrian Grand Prix knowing he has every chance of cutting the gap to Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg at the top of the Formula 1 drivers’ championship.

Hamilton arrived in Spielberg trailing Rosberg by 24 points, but after scoring pole position in a damp qualifying session on Saturday and with his rival starting sixth today, he will fancy his chances of whittling the gap down.

The rain shower at the Red Bull Ring resulted in a mixed-up grid, with Nico Hulkenberg starting second for Force India and Jenson Button third for McLaren.

As a result, we are set for a thrilling race on Sunday in Austria, particularly with more rain forecast.
