Sauber F1 Team has confirmed it won’t be testing at next week’s two-day outing on July 12-13, which makes the second in-season test the Swiss team has canceled this year.

Sauber also pulled the plug on the previous in-season test at Barcelona earlier this year.

Citing its absence for Silverstone, Sauber said it axed the test owing to cost effectiveness since its C35 aero update package will come on board later this year.

With Manor having scored its first point in Austria last week, it leaves Sauber as the only team yet to score this season. The team bounced back nicely in 2015 after its scoreless 2014 campaign, but has endured a difficult 2016 to date.
