LEXINGTON, Ohio - Scott Dixon’s pace this weekend in the No. 9 Target Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet continued in Sunday’s 30-minute morning warmup for today’s Honda Indy 200 (2 p.m. ET, CNBC).

With a best time of 1:04.4039, Dixon continued in leading the first Verizon IndyCar Series session of each day this weekend (led first practice on Friday and third practice on Saturday).

But he’ll have a haul to come through the field, from 11th on the grid, in today’s race.

And because he was continuing to try hard, Dixon spun out at Turn 6 at the end of the session, which ended it a few minutes early.

Josef Newgarden and Graham Rahal were next up, with polesitter and points leader Simon Pagenaud in fourth. Will Power, who starts second, was 11th in the session.

RC Enerson was a solid seventh in the No. 19 Dale Coyne Racing Honda.

Max Chilton only completed five laps in the No. 8 Gallagher Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet with mechanical issues.
