If IndyCar fans think their favorite drivers simply fly into town and hop into their race cars for a test, think again.

A number of drivers on the Verizon IndyCar Series showed up early at Pocono Raceway on Wednesday, one day before tomorrow’s scheduled test on the 2.5-mile “Tricky Triangle.”

The series races at Pocono on August 21 in the ABC Supply 500. But racing was way down on the list of the minds of drivers Wednesday.

Instead, they were more occupied with cornhole and wiffle ball — and a few media interviews for good measure (after all, it WAS Media Day, too).

Of particular note was Marco Andretti’s home run against Andretti Autosport Ryan Hunter-Reay.
