Christian Horner and Adrian Newey have been two lynchpins in Red Bull’s success in Formula 1 since joining the grid 11 years ago.
With Horner as team principal and Newey designing the Red Bull cars, Sebastian Vettel swept to four straight drivers’ titles between 2010 and 2013, enjoying a spell of dominance rarely seen in the sport.
But how would Horner and Newey fare behind the wheel?
In the first two parts of a new series by Red Bull, both bid to match ex-F1 driver David Coulthard’s time in the team’s simulator.
Newey has taken part in some racing events in the past including the 2007 24 Hours of Le Mans, while Horner raced as high as F3000 before deciding he wasn’t cut out to be a driver and moved into management.
