MRTI: Tatuus USF-17 team debut, new drivers highlight Griffis Test

usf-1

The annual Chris Griffis Memorial Mazda Road to Indy Test provides a first glimpse at the state of play for the next season’s Mazda Road to Indy presented by Cooper Tires, with this year’s test particularly interesting at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The highlights included the team rollout of the new Tatuus USF-17, which tested for the series over this summer with Joel Miller and Matthew Brabham driving, the step-up of new Pro Mazda champion Aaron Telitz into an Indy Lights car for the first time, and a number of either new teams or new drivers making their debuts.

Full recaps from the series are linked here (overall here; USF-17 debut here) following the round of testing. We’d recommend also checking in with TSO Ladder and MRTI Insider for more content from the test, as I wasn’t on site.

Times from all three series are linked below.
