If you need a big ‘ol double shot of ‘Merica beyond the U.S. presidential election today, check out what Verizon IndyCar Series driver, 2012 series and 2014 Indianapolis 500 champion Ryan Hunter-Reay of Andretti Autosport did over the weekend: he flew with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds in Homestead near Miami.
He flew with pilot Maj. Scott Peltz, and at one point in the two-seat F-16 Fighter Falcon took a 9.7-G turn.
