The latest new digital offering from NBC Sports Group is “Shotgun,” presented by Toyota, which is essentially a high-stakes version of “Cash Cab” featuring high-performance cars.
Rutledge Wood, NBC Sports NASCAR lifestyle and features reporter, hosts the show where six contestants attempt to answer questions while riding shotgun in a 2017 Toyota 86 sports car driven by professional drivers. The pilot episode of the show takes place at Irwindale Speedway in California.
The highest-scoring contestants will advance to the next round, so on and so forth, until a winner is crowned. That winner will take home $25,000.
