Formula 1 cars will grace Daytona International Speedway for the first time next month when Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen take part in a special demo at the Ferrari Finali Mondiali.
The Finali Mondiali acts as the world final for the continental Ferrari Challenge series, bringing together competitors from the North America, Europe and Asia Pacific championships.
As part of the weekend’s events, Ferrari F1 drivers Vettel and Raikkonen, who have collectively won five world championships, will complete laps of Daytona’s road course on December 4.
Given the restrictions placed on teams testing recent cars, both drivers are likely to take control of the F14T car, as raced by Ferrari through 2014.
As well as the on-track racing and the F1 demo featuring Vettel and Raikkonen, fans at Daytona will also get a chance to see the running of historic F1 cars and of Ferrari’s exclusive XX programmes.
The Ferrari Finali Mondiali takes place at Daytona International Speedway from December 1-4.
