Felipe Massa will race with a special one-off race suit and helmet in Sunday’s Brazilian Grand Prix as he makes his final Formula 1 appearance on home soil.
Massa announced in September that he would be retiring from F1 at the end of the 2016 season, with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the end of November marking his final start.
Massa will race in front of his home fans in Brazil on Sunday for the last time, revealing a special helmet design that features many of his career highlights and a Brazil-themed race suit on Instagram ahead of the grand prix, which he will start from 13th for Williams.
The Brazilian Grand Prix is live on NBCSN and the NBC Sports app from 10am ET on Sunday.
