Nico Rosberg stands on the brink of being crowned Formula 1’s 33rd world champion on Sunday at Interlagos, knowing that a third Brazilian Grand Prix victory would seal a maiden crown.

Rosberg’s lead stands at 19 points over Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton with two races remaining, offering a number of permutations as to how he can win the title today.

Hamilton will start from pole today with Rosberg alongside him on the front row, but with rain forecast, a processional race is the furthest thing from anyone’s mind.
