The 2016 Formula 1 season comes to a close today in Abu Dhabi, with the grand finale being headlined by the championship fight between Mercedes teammates Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton.

Rosberg arrives in the final race with a 12-point lead in the drivers’ championship, meaning a top-three finish will be enough to give the German a maiden F1 crown.

However, should Hamilton overturn the points deficit across the course of today’s race, the Briton will become a four-time world champion, a feat only four other drivers have managed through F1 history.

Eras will end today in Abu Dhabi as the likes of Jenson Button and Felipe Massa bow out of the sport, but there is still so much to play for under the lights at Yas Marina.
