The countdown to the start of the new Formula 1 season continued this week as three teams confirmed they have completed the initial fire-up of their new cars.
With the start of pre-season testing on February 27 drawing near, all 10 teams racing in F1 this year are putting the final touches to their new cars. As part of this process, the much-anticipated fire-up is an important moment for all teams.
Mercedes released a video – posted above – of its first fire-up, with Toro Rosso following suit on Friday.
Williams confirmed in a tweet earlier in the week that it too has fired up its new car, the FW40, for the first time.
