VIDEO: Mercedes gets to work on pit stops with new 2017 F1 tires

With the new Formula 1 season quickly approaching, Mercedes is putting in the work as it chases a fourth straight drivers’/constructors’ championship double in 2017.

With the margins in F1 being so fine, many races are won and lost in the pits, making practice with the crew changing tires vitally important.

The challenge for the pit crew changes slightly for 2017 following the introduction of Pirelli’s new wider profiled tires, which have grown in size by around 25 per cent.

In the above video, Mercedes gives us a first look at what pit stops will look like in 2017, with new driver Valtteri Bottas watching on carefully.
