It’s not been unusual for Lewis Hamilton to embark on different athletic endeavors in advance of a Grand Prix. Case in point, he went golfing with Stephen Curry earlier this year.

Before Sunday’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix though, Hamilton has got in a little different workout than normal.

Hamilton joined actor Ben Stiller’s Dodgeball-inspired “Globo Gym Purple Cobras” dodgeball team on the set of NBC’s “The Today Show” Tuesday morning, with Stiller raising money for charity in the process. This is Hamilton’s second interesting trip in as many days, New York coming after Hamilton was in England on Monday to get welcomed home for winning his and Mercedes’ fourth championships.

This team took on a number of “Today” anchors, notably Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Al Roker, and a few others. You can see the match below.
