NHRA Pro Mod driver Chad Green flipped his car during Sunday’s eliminations of the Fitzgerald USA Thunder Valley NHRA Nationals at Bristol Dragway in Tennessee.
It appeared the parachutes on Green’s car did not deploy and somehow his car went out of control, and then flipped upside down before sliding into the sand trap at the end of the track.
Fortunately, Green emerged from his wrecked race car under his own power and was uninjured.
