After a thrilling 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500, the NTT IndyCar Series heads to Detroit for a doubleheader on the streets of Belle Isle Park. The unique race weekend will see race one take place on Saturday and race two take place on Sunday.

Last year, Scott Dixon won race one after starting from the second position. Dixon’s victory last season was the first of three en route to his fifth series championship.

Dixon will start from the second row in today’s race, while Alexander Rossi will start from the pole position.

Here is today’s schedule:

(All times are Eastern)

Saturday 6/1, 12 p.m. ET, race 1 qualifications (tape-delay): NBCSN
