The National Hot Rod Association has suspended all of its drag racing events for 30 days and postponed its next national event.
The DENSO Spark Plugs NHRA Four-Wide Nationals had been scheduled for April 3-5 at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The makeup date has yet to be determined.
The NHRA said in a release that it currently plans to resume its original schedule April 17-19 with the Mopar Express Lane NHRA SpringNationals at Houston Raceway Park.

Last weekend, the majority of the 51st annual Gatornationals were postponed because of the novel coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).
The Centers for Disease Control recommended March 15 that gatherings of more than 50 people be canceled or postponed for eight weeks.
