The American Flat Track announced an 18-race schedule for 2023 that begins with a two-race stand at Daytona International Speedway and ends with a pair of races at the Springfield (Ill.) Mile at the Illinois Fairgrounds.
This year’s schedule features the return of traditional tracks, some returning favorites and new courses.
Additionally, the schedule is well balanced with five one-mile tracks, five half-miles, five half-miles, four short tracks and four tourist trophy (TT) races featuring a mix of road and oval dirt racing.
Highlighting new and returning courses are iconic dirt tracks like Senoia (Ga.) Speedway, Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas and West Virginia Motor Speedway in Mineral Wells.
The TT track Daytona, the Sacramento Mile ant the California Expo and DuQuoin State Fairgrounds mile well represent the traditional tracks.

The Arizona Super TT returns after debuting in 2019. It has been scheduled to coincide with the 29th annual Arizona Bike Week on April 1. The course at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park outside of Phoenix features a variety of left- and right-hand turns.
