Colton Herta was fastest again in the third practice for the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course Saturday morning, posting a lap of 1 minute, 5.7048 seconds around the 13-Turn, 2.258-mile road course.

Herta led Spencer Pigot by 0.0577 seconds. Pigot also finished P1 second-fastest. Both drivers have an excellent shot to claim the pole position in qualifications later in the afternoon.

Alexander Rossi finished the session third-fastest with an elapsed time of 1 minute, 5.8747 seconds, while James Hinchcliffe (1 minute, 5.9580 seconds) and Santino Ferrucci (1 minute, 5.9802 seconds) ended the session fourth and fifth-fastest, respectfully.

Ohio native Graham Rahal (1 minute, 6.0040 seconds) ended the session sixth-fastest, while Josef Newgarden (1 minute, 6.0131 seconds), Ryan Hunter-Reay (1 minute, 6.0208 seconds), Sebastian Bourdais (1 minute, 6.0337 seconds) and Will Power (1 minute, 6.0905 seconds) finished seventh through tenth.

The red flag would come out once during the 45-minute session, when RC Enerson spun in Turn 9 and stalled on the track. Enerson, who is making his first IndyCar start since Sonoma in 2016, was assessed a five-minute penalty for bringing out the red flag. He ended the session 19th-fastest.

Felix Rosenqvist ended the session 20th-fastest after running off-course into the Turn 4 sandtrap.
